Who we are

Fortune Recruitment is a remote sales recruitment business based in Manchester, UK. For any privacy question or request, email harry@fortunerecruitment.io.

What we collect

Contact form: your name, email address and message when you get in touch through this website.

Joining Fortune: your email address, payment details and your answers to the checkout questions (such as your sales experience, the roles you're interested in and your work location preference). Card details are handled by our payment provider, Whop; we don't see or store them.

Your rep profile: the background, track record, results and contact details you share on your onboarding call and in your profile form.

Call bookings: the details you enter when you book a call with us through Calendly.

Website usage: anonymous, aggregated visit data through Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or identify you personally.

How we use it

We use your data to provide your membership, build your rep profile, match you to roles, arrange interviews, reply to enquiries, and understand how our website is used so we can improve it.

Our legal bases under UK GDPR are performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and improving our business, and your consent where we ask for it.

Who we share it with

Hiring companies: when a role matches you, we share your rep profile with the company so they can consider you. Introducing you to hiring companies is the core of the service you join for.

Service providers who process data on our behalf: Whop (payments), Formspree (contact form), Calendly (call booking) and Vercel (website hosting and analytics). Some of these providers are based outside the UK, and your data may be transferred to them under appropriate safeguards.

We never sell your personal data.

Embedded videos

Testimonial videos on this site are hosted by Loom and YouTube. Nothing loads from them until you press play. Once you do, those providers may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as your membership is active or as needed to respond to your enquiry, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to how we use it, and to receive a copy of it. To exercise any of these rights, email harry@fortunerecruitment.io.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

We may update this policy from time to time. The version on this page applies from the date shown above.
